Starry Night and Sunrise Tour on the Uyuni Salt Flats
The adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel in Uyuni or a pre-arranged meeting point. Aboard a 4×4 vehicle, we head to a secluded spot on the salt flats, ideal for stargazing in total darkness and far from light pollution.
During the early morning hours, the sky transforms into a canvas filled with stars, constellations, the Milky Way, and, in certain months, meteor showers. During the rainy season (December to March), you can witness the famous mirror effect of the salt flats, where the sky is perfectly reflected in the water, creating an amazing optical illusion.
Little by little, the horizon begins to illuminate with the first rays of the sun. You will enjoy a magical sunrise in absolute silence, surrounded by a panoramic view that seems otherworldly.
After the experience is over, the driver will take you back to your hotel, Uyuni airport, or the bus station, according to your preference.

Recommendations
Tour Recommendations
Bring very warm clothing: Temperatures on the Bolivian Altiplano can drop drastically, especially between May and August, when nighttime temperatures can reach several degrees below zero. It is recommended to dress in layers and include gloves, a hat, a scarf, and a thermal or windproof jacket.
Wear comfortable, waterproof footwear: The salt flats can be wet or slippery, especially during the rainy season (December to March). Wear sneakers or boots with good traction for safe walking.
If you are traveling during the rainy season, bring waterproof clothing and a change of clothes: During these months, the salt flats transform into a natural mirror, and it is common to get wet while walking on the surface. Bring a poncho or waterproof jacket, as well as dry clothes to change into at the end of the tour.
Don’t forget your camera or cell phone with a good night vision camera: The Salar de Uyuni is a perfect setting for both daytime and nighttime photography. On clear nights, the sky fills with stars, making it ideal for capturing spectacular astronomical images.
Bring a headlamp or flashlight: If you participate in the astronomy experience or finish the tour at night, a flashlight is very useful for moving safely in dimly lit areas.
Not recommended for people with mobility difficulties or those very sensitive to the cold: Due to the extreme conditions of altitude, weather, and uneven terrain, this tour requires a certain level of physical stamina and tolerance to low temperatures.
